Reset BODY to BURN FAT and
LOSE THE WEIGHT
Sofia lost weight with Ideal Protein
The three phases of the Ideal Protein Protocol are designed to help you set, achieve and maintain your weight loss goals. During the Weight Loss Phase of the Protocol, we limit carbohydrate intake to encourage the body to turn to its fat stores for energy. By eating Ideal Protein foods, the Protocol helps to sustain muscle mass while teaching you how to develop smarter eating habits and lifestyle choices which will help to maintain your weight after weight loss is achieved.
Vegetarians can follow the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol and can consume eggs, fish or tofu during their evening meal for their whole protein. As another alternative, vegetarians can have 2 Ideal Protein foods for dinner in place of their whole protein. Ensure that you review the ingredient list on all boxes of Ideal Protein foods before purchasing them. Strict vegans, who do not consume any animal proteins or animal by-products, such as dairy products, honey and so on, do not qualify to follow the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol due to the many dietary restrictions.
It is not uncommon to lose 6 to 8 pounds during the first two weeks and up to 2 pounds per week thereafter when the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol is followed properly.
Typical keto diets are high fat, with a moderate amount of protein, and very few carbohydrates. The Ideal Protein diet consists of low fat, low carb foods, and a protein intake that is optimized to each individual, based on an assessment with a specialist. ... This is vastly different than a high-calorie, high-fat keto diet. The Ideal Protein protocol also differs from a keto diet in that it is structured to provide the recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals.
We won’t lie to you – if you’re used to eating a cheeseburger and fries for lunch it may be an adjustment for your taste buds, but the food isn’t bad! With so many Ideal Protein food options, there is something for everyone! Unlike many other diets or “systems” Ideal Protein incorporates generous meals of whole protein and vegetables during the weight loss phase.
The protocol is safe for almost everyone. However, those with a dysfunctional liver or kidneys should not be on the Ideal Protein protocol along with women who are pregnant or breast feeding.
